Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and developing new business opportunities and proposal strategies to drive growth within the company's Supply Fulfillment business segment. This segment supports both existing OEM partners (e.g., Boeing, L3Harris) and government entities, including the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and Department of Homeland Security.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




  1. Responsible for analyzing and capturing new business opportunities within the Supply Fulfillment segment and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  2. Responsible for maintaining and updating an active opportunity pipeline using existing KA procurement systems.
  3. Develop pursuit and capture strategies for identified opportunities to include development of management, technical and cost solutions.
  4. Primary responsibility to monitor, track and respond to Customer Supply Fulfillment RFPs.
  5. Administrative responsibility for Customer Portal systems (i.e. Boeing Exostar).
  6. Primary responsibility for KA Road Show parts and materials sourcing.
  7. Assist with proposal preparations to ensure compliance with all Request for Proposal (RFP) Supply requirements for KAI, KA ARK, KACC and KA Road Show as needed.
  8. Other Business Development support as needed (Conferences, booth shipment, travel coordination when needed, KA Boeing Forum, office responsibilities, etc.).
  9. Responsible for adherence to the King Aerospace Proposal Handbook.
  10. Responsible for all other Special Project tasks as assigned.


Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:




  • Minimum 10 years supplier department management experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years aviation supplier/purchaser experience.
  • Preferred: Research experience related to parts and materials identification and sourcing
  • Preferred: Familiarity with KA procurement operations and systems
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to manage priorities to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate with cross-functional teams of subject matter experts in achieving organizational objectives.
  • Ability to interpret diverse customer requirements including Customer provided engineering drawings.
  • Leadership style that ensures organizational ethical standards are maintained and fosters positive relationships.



WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:




  • Based out of the KA home office, travel as required.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
