The Senior Accountant role is based in Hazlet, NJ, in a remote setting. Occasional in-office presence is expected approximately once or twice a quarter, in New York City and/or Hazlet/Union Beach, NJ, with flexibility to ensure work-life balance. Your potential is our inspiration. --- Where You'll Make a Difference * Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records, reporting, and internal controls. * Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes. * Prepare and/or review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial account analyses. * Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports to support decision-making. * Supervise accounting activities for legal entities in compliance with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and company policies. * Collaborate with Global Business Services (GBS) center managers and cross-functional teams. * Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities. * Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, Financial Reporting, and other teams on deliverables and special projects. * Manage internal and external audit processes for assigned legal entities. --- What Makes You the Right Fit * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred or in progress. * 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience. * Strong proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP ) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. * Experience with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and corporate accounting policies. * Skilled in analyzing financial data and explaining variances including Month-over-Month (MoM), Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ), and Year-over-Year (YoY). * Proven ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate across teams, including international teams. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment. --- How Would You Stand Out? * Experience working in one of the Big Four accounting firms or a multi-national publicly traded company.. * Demonstrated success in leading audit and accounting processes and resolving discrepancies. * Passion for continuous improvement and automation in financial operations. --- Why Choose Us? * Opportunity to work with a global leader in innovation and sustainability. * Collaborative and inclusive work culture. * Professional development and growth opportunities. * Competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, employee assistance, wellness programs, and a 401(k) plan with a competitive company contribution. * Flexible work arrangements. * Meaningful work that impacts everyday products.
