What do our Accounts Payable Leads do?

This role is directly responsible for Accounts Payable on a daily basis, including reviewing and processing vendor invoices/statements, training and mentoring of staff, and problem solving.

Primary or Key Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Reviews daily processing of vendor invoices for accuracy
• Problem solving of all A/P issues
• Reconciling company credit cards, intercompany charges, and other payables related items
• Train and mentor accounting assistants involved in A/P
• Assists the Accounting Manager with special projects
• Maintains accounting policies and procedures
• Assists in meeting all deadlines for month-end close

What do you need?

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 3 years of work-related experience
• Proficiency in the use of Computers and Microsoft Excel
• Successfully meet pre-employment background screen
