What's the job?

Reporting to the Performance Improvement Manager, while taking daily direction from the Operation's Team, the Plant Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that Plant Personnel are trained and up to date on individualized training plans including yearly retraining, in addition to creating, auditing, and updating training documentation. The Plant Training Coordinator will be the primary resource for supporting a welcoming and well-structured employment experience for all employees. The Plant Training Coordinator will also be the primary resource in yearly retraining, evaluations, and cross-training throughout the facility.

Safety



  • Follows all safety rules and policies.
  • Ensures line activity is in accordance with rules and policies while providing leadership to the line activity when needed.
  • Continuously evaluates workplace for safety concerns and ensures behavioral safety initiatives are performed to goal levels.


Quality



  • Trains Employees with support from Operations Team and Subject Matter Experts (SME's) on all Work Instructions (WI's) and other supporting documentation.
  • Maintains Training Progress within Teamwork and ensures that all employees are trained for all tasks pertaining to their roles.
  • Creates and revises Work Instructions as required.
  • Coordinates training needs with Production Team to ensure appropriate time is allotted for training employees.
  • Audits training progress monthly and coordinates the next month's training plan with Performance Improvement Manager and Operations Team.


Production Processes and Housekeeping



  • Maintain good housekeeping as established by Teamwork Forms and identifies gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Participates and adheres to requirements as established by equipment/area sustainment boards.


Leadership



  • Work with Line Coordinators to schedule and assign line responsibility, monitor progress, and evaluate results
  • Provide essential communication between Performance Improvement Team and Operations team


Other Duties and Responsibilities



  • Assists team members with tactical operations
  • Participates with the onboarding of new employees
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as needed and/or requested by management.


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm, position will require to flex to 3rd shift

Compensation: 24.93 an hour

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

What do you bring?

As an individual contributor, this position will enhance the communication to and from the production teams. This position will work closely with the Production Manager and Line Coordinators to help troubleshoot and solution the daily production needs. The ideal candidate will have the skills described below.





    • 2-4 years of experience leading a team in manufacturing (required)
    • HS diploma or GED (required)
    • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft suite (required)
    • Knowledge and experience using Training software (example - Teamwork) (preferred)
    • This position will require flexibility to work on both day and night shift. The position will require computer work in an office setting as well as hands on production in the manufacturing areas
