ERP Systems Administration Specialist Seniorin GAC Savannah Unique Skills: DUTIES: Responsible for ERP system administration that may include application installation, architecture, configuration, ongoing support, security, patching, upgrades, high availability, development transport management, and performance tuning. Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. Provides the solution leadership and staff mentorship for the implementation team and technical solution leadership and staff mentorship for the technical team. Delivers solution capabilities (processes, integration, data migration, and custom development) by leveraging product knowledge and expertise. Creates plans according to schedules and assignments and acts independently to carry them out. Assures that solution designs meet requirements for scalability, performance, and quality in accordance with negotiated service level agreements. Drives decisions related to architecture and design. Delegates tasks and/or responsibilities to team members for action according to their level of experience and assigned accountability. Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and standards. Supports management in recruiting, hiring, and career development. Assists with the development of work breakdown structures, project plans, and skills required to develop and implement applications. Develops strategies for the monitoring, preventive maintenance and disaster recovery of applications. Performs application installation, upgrades, administration, support and troubleshooting, performance tuning, and patching. Coordinates and delivers solution capabilities (custom development, integration, data migration) by leveraging product knowledge and expertise. Provides thought leadership to key business leaders on business process designs to leverage world class process and current technology options for transformational business change. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities. Leads and facilitates cross-functional teams and meetings. Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required. Twelve years of experience in SAP system configuration, development, and deployment required, including experience with: software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC) and multiple full project lifecycle SAP HANA implementations; conducting testing including design and execution of test cases; the overall architecture and design of SAP and SAP HANA landscapes; designing and maintaining SAP Landscape Strategies; SAP architecture on Virtualized Platform and High Availability scenarios for both SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA; SAP Business Suite on HANA and S/4 HANA sizing, installation, and support knowledge with an emphasis on ECC, CRM, GTS, EWM and SNC; SAP NetWeaver Portal sizing, installation, and support knowledge involving both usage types (EPC and EP); SAP PI sizing, installation, and support experience including administration of communication channels, adapters, and end-to-end messages monitoring; SAP System Landscape Transformation; LaMa Implementation and usage scenarios to automate System Copy/Clone/Refresh process including Standalone Pre and Post System Copy activities; SAP OpenText Design and Implementation including components like Archive Server, Content Server, Invoice Capture Center and Open Text Capture Center; Solution Manager and End-to-End experience designing SAP Solution Manager for technical monitoring, reporting, and IT Service Management Root Cause Analysis; SAP SSO methodologies and setting up SSL communications; and SAP and SAP compatible load balancing technologies (SAP Web Dispatcher, F5). Must be a SAP Certified Support Associate - SAP HANA and a SAP Certified Support Associate - SAP Operating Systems/Database Migrations. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 12 years of experience, a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 10 years of the above-listed experience OR a PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of the above-listed experience is acceptable. Candidates lacking a degree must have 14 years of the above-listed experience. Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE. Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 12 years of experience as an IT professional with broad experience across multiple IT disciplines which includes six (6) years specific ERP development / deployment experience. Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.

This is a system administration role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the ERP team. This role is responsible for ERP system administration that may include application installation, architecture, configuration, ongoing support, security, patching, upgrades, high availability, development transport management, and performance tuning.
