What You'll Do

As the Project Controls Officer - Finance, you will assist with project controls management for joint venture operations. Track and report project spend, assist with project scheduling and provide other financial analyst and project management assistance as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Cost Management

  • Establish and maintain the project cost control system and work breakdown structure (WBS).
  • Develop, track, and update project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
  • Perform cost variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support preparation of monthly cost reports, cash flow, and earned value metrics.
  • Coordinate with finance and procurement teams to align actuals and commitments.

Schedule Management

  • Support the development and maintenance of the integrated master schedule.
  • Monitor schedule performance, identify slippages, and assist in recovery planning.
  • Coordinate schedule inputs from engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Facilitate progress measurement and reporting aligned with key milestones.

Change & Risk Management

  • Implement and administer the project change management process.
  • Support evaluation of change impacts on cost, schedule, and risk exposure.
  • Interface with risk management to ensure contingencies and allowances are visible and traceable.

Reporting & Governance

  • Develop and maintain standard reporting dashboards for project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Prepare inputs for project reviews, CAPEX panels, assurance gates, and board reporting.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in similar role, with experience in financial analysis, budgets and forecasting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or similar is preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
