As a Security Professional Access Control Patrol Tech in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol designated areas within a dynamic technology-driven environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication to all individuals on site. Pay Rate: $21.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors and employees in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or breaches of policy to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
