SUMMARY: The Commercial Loan Servicing Analyst is responsible for the bank's commercial loan portfolio from the point of boarding the loan to the system throughout the life of the loan, including but not limited to payment processing, insurance and property tax follow up (escrows), on-going customer service and maintenance of the loan. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: North Shore Bank's Position Descriptions are intended to describe only the major functions of the job. Everyone is expected to contribute whatever efforts necessary to operate efficiently and effectively to ensure the success of the Bank. Prepares and enters data for new and renewed business and commercial real estate loans. Reviews documentation, recordings, and sets up covenants, orders reports, etc. for accurate tracking within the appropriate systems. Ensures all tracking items and reporting are complete and accurate, including but not limited to financials, flood, title insurance, UCC's, vehicle titles, etc. Responds to requests for information from a variety of internal and external customers, such as Loan Officers, Business Bankers, commercial real estate customers, law firms, etc., in relation to loan servicing issues. Prepares and processes loan payoff statements, satisfactions, releases, and paid papers. Works with accounting department regarding fund receipts, balancing commercial loan department general ledger accounts, and reconciliations. Reviews and processes daily mail, loan payments, advances, wire requests, and other related items. Performs data entry updates within various loan servicing systems. Generates and distributes several monthly reports. Accurately tracks, scans, and files documentation at loan closing and on an ongoing basis. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior work experience with direct customer contact is required. Experience in banking, lending, and loan servicing is required. Experience with commercial lending, investment/commercial real estate, or commercial construction lending is a plus. Knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel, is required. Experience with Fiserv Vision and Baker Hill software is a plus. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to manage and prioritize workload and complete tasks accuratey in a deadline-driven environment is required for this role. |
