Position Overview The Access Control Security Service Technician is responsible for servicing a wide range of commercial security systems, including access control, electrified door hardware, CCTV (analog and IP), and intrusion alarm panels. This role requires delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, field-based environment. Key Responsibilities * Perform all duties with honesty, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. * Provide prompt and effective support to clients both on-site and remotely. * Troubleshoot and repair access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems. * Conduct on-site repairs and system upgrades when applicable. * Advise clients on system enhancements and upgrade options. * Deliver training to clients and end users on system operation. * Support installation teams with programming and setup as needed. * Conduct alarm system takeovers and upgrades. * Maintain clear communication with the Service Manager and submit accurate service documentation. * Manage inventory of service parts in company-provided vehicle. * Stay current with technologies and systems installed; commit to continuous learning. Preferred Experience Familiarity with one or more of the following systems: * Lenel * RS2 * DMP * DSC * Interlogix * Honeywell * Avigilon Skills & Expertise * Access control systems * Alarm and intrusion systems * CCTV installation and service * Low voltage wiring and punchdown * Physical security hardware * System programming and troubleshooting * Radio and communication systems Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
