DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of cleaning duties, which include the effective use and upkeep of janitorial equipment like vacuum cleaners, scrubbing machines, and polishing machines. Your daily tasks will involve emptying trash bins and ensuring that all office spaces remain tidy. It is crucial to submit daily, weekly, and monthly check-off sheets to the Equipment Manager punctually and to maintain a sufficient inventory of cleaning supplies to fulfill daily requirements. Safety is paramount; any potential hazards must be reported to a supervisor without delay. Work efficiency is essential to meet production targets, and any operational delays should be communicated promptly. Participation in the Luzerne County Recycling Program is required, along with fostering a respectful and collaborative environment with coworkers. Adhering to scheduled work hours and completing assigned tasks is vital, as is prioritizing personal and collective safety by attending safety training, following established protocols, and being familiar with evacuation procedures in confined spaces. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Requirements:
- Experience utilizing commercial floor scrubbers and carpet shampoo machines.
- Experience painting and replacing ceiling tiles.
- Lawn mowing, weed trimming, pruning shrubs, maintaining land scape, sweeping and snow blowing-snow removal on sidewalks.
- Call-out situations without notice
- Washing windows, removing trash and climbing ladders to the roof top units.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
