What You Will Do: 
 This position will primarily be responsible for providing production support to the Freeport, TX plant while maintaining safe operations.This position will require occasional weekend call-out (including nights) or holiday and will work on a rotating shift basis.Be proficient in use of process equipmentPerform all aspects of manufacturing a product from a process order or bill of materialOperation of PC to perform various production functions: such as generating process orders, inventory checks, label making, and some quality checksPrepare drums, pails, totes, and other containers for transport of productsMaintains a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant work and storage areaLabels and placards packaged material in accordance with company policy and government regulationsOperate pumps, valves, and other processing equipment for safe and efficient chemical productionOperate all transporting equipment used to receive raw materials and the transport of productsEffectively load and unload bulk materials from tankersMake necessary hose line-ups for loading material from tankers into vessels and vice versaOperate scales and maintain drumming platform.Operate and maintain equipment related to plant utilities and waste treatment.Support the processes to meet the requirement s of the current ISO and RC StandardsPrepare drums and totes for loading and shipping which includes labeling and filling of the container.Participate in physical inventory, safety meetings, and improvements committeesMay perform necessary Quality Assurance testsBe able to act as a second line Production Planner as neededBe able to troubleshoot and repair minor problems and alert maintenance to major repairsDemonstrate successful ability to supervise Assistant Process Operator and OperatorEffectively manage through "hands on" exampleHave final responsibility for products moving out of the plant in an efficient manner, maintaining a 95% on time service level Location Information: * This will be a local position at the Freeport TX plant. * Work week and shift: DuPont schedule - rotating days and nights Basic/Minimum Qualifications: 
 High school diploma/GEDMinimum 1 year manufacturing experienceMust have the ability to don a respiratorMust have the ability to wear fall protection if necessaryWilling and able to work weekendsWilling and able to work a rotation and nightsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsTeam Player with ability to perform physical work.All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write EnglishImmigration sponsorship is not offered for this role Physical Demands:
