Minimum Qualifications	Requires are least a high school diploma or equivalent. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications	previous experience as a building services worker or custodian
Position Summary	Perform manual work in a variety of cleaning and related duties in and around Athletic buildings and facilities.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies	Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
Physical Demands	Squat, bend, lift approximately 40lbs, see, hear, lift arms, push and lift machinery.

Duties/Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities	Perform manual work in a variety of cleaning and related duties in and around university buildings and facilities. This includes locker rooms, showers, bathrooms, sidewalks, front steps, and offices.
Percentage of time	50

Duties/Responsibilities	Sweep, mop, scrub, buff, and wax floors; dust and clean chalk boards and offices; wash windows, walls, trash cans and glass doors. Frequently work from a ladder.

Duties/Responsibilities	Replace light bulbs, clean and polish brass.

Duties/Responsibilities	Ensure compliance with NCAA, SEC, and institutional rules and regulations pertaining to the area of building services.
