What to Expect Tesla is looking for a stellar Supply Chain Manager to source semiconductor (EE) components. The role will be instrumental in architecting a long-term strategy for microprocessors and microcontrollers required for Tesla products encompassing automotive, energy and robotics. The candidate is expected to be a self-starter and have prior sourcing experience with ability to manage a strategic supply base. What You'll Do Owner of electrical components end to end, from influencing engineering design all the way through end of life Execute contracts such as NDA, Pricing Agreements, Master Agreement and ensure supplier adherence to key terms Ideate opportunities for cost reduction in existing and new products Commodity Management: Address all areas of commodity management including commodity analysis, market conditions, technology roadmaps, cost modelling, and sourcing strategy Supply Chain Management: Help resolve bottlenecks to support Tesla's demand and implement measures to prevent recurrence Supplier Relationships: Manage strategic supplier relationships, including dispute resolution, supplier scorecards, and business reviews Data Analysis: Compile and analyse data related to supply chain health, component pricing and supplier performance What You'll Bring 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, or commodity management, for direct categories used in high volume manufacturing products Manage all sourcing activities through the product development lifecycle. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
