Description TEKsystems is looking for a Field Technician to assist a client, in the Charleston area, facilities. This role will support very central locations in the area with a team to support. This position is crucial to keep the infrastructure up for outages and customer needs. Top Skills' Details Working knowledge of fiber circuits, MPLS and other LAN/WAN data circuits. * Skilled in the termination and troubleshooting of various cabling types to include fiber. * Knowledge of fiber terminations, data circuits, 48V and 135Vdc power plants. * Experience with DC plant systems, LAN and wireless testing, fiber optic test equipment, and various cabling types. * Familiarity with cable identification, terminating cables, and Channel Banks. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Electrical/Electronic experience and SCADA knowledge are a plus. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
