The Microsoft Purview Team is responsible for a broad suite of data governance, data security, compliance, privacy, and risk management solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, and multi-cloud environments. We are looking to hire a Principal Product Manager for the Purview team, you will help ensure the software, tools, and code meets the highest standards for scale and security. This opportunity will allow you to learn about customer scaling requirements and the application of best practices for meeting scaling needs and performance expectations, while ensuring the correct processes are followed to achieve a high degree of security, privacy, safety, and accessibility and of course security. You will look for opportunities to raise the security bar as you apply Microsoft's security policies and best practices. This Hybrid Position is located at our Microsoft office in Redmond, Washington. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates will need to relocate or reside within 50 miles of the field location.
ResponsibilitiesDrive strategic planning and execution of large-scale programs aligned with Purview's objectives and compliance standards.Define program scope, goals, and deliverables through collaboration with engineering, product, compliance, and customer success teams.Lead data governance, privacy, and compliance initiatives across the organization.Monitor and report program progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.Foster innovation and operational excellence within program teams to ensure continuous improvement.Mentor and develop other program managers, promoting knowledge sharing and talent growth.Engage stakeholders and customers to gather feedback and ensure successful adoption of Purview solutions.Ensure alignment with regulatory and business requirements, mitigating risks proactively.Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve program milestones and resolve challenges effectively.Champion best practices in program management, leveraging metrics and tools for efficiency and impact. | |
