Launch Excellence is a global function within Near Patient Care Operations Mannheim / Indianapolis, under Diagnostics Global Operations, responsible for providing Lifecycle & Master Data updates and operational system readiness for the Near Patient Care product portfolio.

The opportunity:

As the Master Data Specialist you demonstrate competence in Material Master Data Management in SAP and understand the relevance of Master Data Maintenance to business processes. Your passion is to analyze master data and ensuring a high quality of information provided.

In this position you are responsible for the maintenance of material master data relevant for Roche sites. You consult and support cross-functionally and across sites with your master data expertise.

Further, you collaborate closely with launch/lifecycle teams and strive for continuous optimization.

In this role you will report to the Head of Launch Excellence & Product Master Data.

You will be responsible to:

  • Maintain master data and continuously improve data quality.

  • Standardize & harmonize master data.

  • Consult functions on master data setup and impact on their processes.

  • Assemble Windchill and SAP BOMs for production, process, and purchase orders.

  • Implement phase-out steps for materials and documents.

Who you are?

As the Master Data Specialist you have the following skills and competencies:

  • 2+ years of experience with SAP & Master Data or related discipline preferably within the Medical Device industry.

  • Familiarity with SAP, MDG-M and data management. Windchill preferred.

  • Degree in Business, Product Development, Engineering, IT or related functions

  • A willingness to challenge the status quo

  • You are fluent in English

  • You have a passion to drive change

  • You are an excellent communicator & cross-functional collaborator

Pay transparency

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is 53,300.00 - 98,900.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
