Security Officer - Industrial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Evansville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all personnel. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols both inside the manufacturing and industrial facility and around its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or site supervisors.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal protocols and client site policies.
• Remain alert to potential hazards in the location, reporting and/or responding according to established procedures.
• Work collaboratively with facility personnel and/or law enforcement when required to support security-related objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
