Security Officer - Airport Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Airport Patrol - Full Time in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, promoting a secure and welcoming environment for all. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. You'll play an important role in supporting access control measures and contributing to a positive experience for everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
• Maintain a visible presence to assist with security-related needs and serve as a point of contact for individuals at the location.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
