About the Opportunity

As part of the Subrogation/Workers' Compensation Team, the Team Attorney provides legal support and guidance to business operations.

What you'll do



  • Advises General Counsel on relevant legal issues regarding Workers' Compensation Operations.
  • Provides timely and suitable legal review and advice to assigned workers' compensation recovery teams.
  • Ensures that possible adverse suits and legal matters towards clients and Company are handled appropriately.
  • Provides training in relevant legal issues as assigned to new and current analysts.
  • Communicates with Workers' Compensation Analysts as needed with information and guidance regarding new court decisions, statutes, and regulations and the potential impact on file handling.


What experience you bring (Role Requirements)



  • Juris Doctorate from an approved ABA law school.
  • License to practice law in any state. California license a plus.
  • One or more years of workers' compensation experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a keen ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Pay range: $130,000 -$200,000 USD

This is an exempt position. The salary range is for Base Salary.There is also an opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee's geographic location.
