The Corporate Trainer will play an integral role in the professional development of Alliance Ground International's workforce. This individual will design, deliver, and evaluate training programs, oversee content creation, manage the Workday Learning Management System (LMS), and support the onboarding of staff during new airport customer start-ups.

The ideal candidate combines strong instructional design skills, hands-on training delivery experience, technical acumen with LMS administration, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, aviation service environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Training & Content Development
    • Develop, update, and maintain engaging training programs and content tailored to operational requirements and regulatory standards.
    • Create training materials including manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and job aids for diverse employee functions.
    • Adapt and customize learning content for new airport customer start-up projects to ensure high-quality onboarding.
  • Facilitation & Delivery
    • Ability to complete customer train the trainer courses and build and develop training plans to ensure station staff are up to date with customer training
    • Facilitate AGI train the trainer sessions to ensure all station level trainers are up to date with content and demonstrate ability to conduct class room training
    • Lead engaging in-person, remote, and blended training sessions-including seminars, workshops, and new hire onboarding programs-for employees at all levels.
    • Mentor and support new employees, ensuring skill and knowledge acquisition aligns with operational excellence.
    • Gather participant feedback and conduct needs assessments to continuously improve training programs.
  • LMS Administration (Workday)
    • Serve as the primary administrator for the Workday LMS, overseeing user management, course assignments, tracking, and reporting.
    • Upload, organize, and monitor training content and employee progress within Workday.
    • Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with IT as needed, and ensure data integrity and compliance with all training records.
  • New Airport Customer Start-Ups
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver rapid, effective training and onboarding for new airport customer contracts.
    • Respond quickly to project timelines and ensure new hires are fully trained and compliant before launch.
    • Adjust training materials and logistics to reflect the unique needs of each airport environment.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Analyze training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and business outcomes; recommend and implement enhancements.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, aviation regulations, and best practices in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.

  • Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific health, wellbeing, safety, and security rules or procedures.
  • Fully understand AGI Health & Safety and Security policies.
  • Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.

Physical Requirements:

  • AR Analysts must be able to occasionally lift / carry / push / pull and move items 10 pounds (or more.
  • Must be able to use close vision and sit for long periods of time.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
  • Technical proficiency in LMS administration (Workday preferred)
  • Project management and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in safety, education or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering training in a corporate or operational environment.
  • Hands-on experience with LMS platforms; direct Workday experience highly valued.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to work with diverse roles and learning levels.
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Power BI and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Prior experience in aviation, logistics, or ground services is strongly preferred.
  • Current customer train-the-trainer certifications are a plus
  • Ability to travel to various airport locations as required.
  • Travel up to 70% year one and 50% thereafter
