Description

The HME Access Services Coordinator assists in the efficient operation of the HME Access Services Department. This position develops and coordinates training for all Access Services staff after their initial introductory training with the Quality Assurance Department. This position works with the Training and Education Coordinator to keep all procedures and desk aids current. This position establishes measurement tools to monitor individual employee performance as well as employs audits to verify accuracy of the orders processed within Access Services to ensure timely delivery and billing for our patients.

Required Qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree Plus 1 year Home Medical Equipment experience. Or 3 years of Home Medical Equipment experience.
  • Upon hire: In compliance with the Providence Health and Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Data, finance or employee performance auditing experience.
  • Experience applying quality improvement principles and methodologies.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1 year Lead or coordinator experience in health care.
  • Auditing and Training experience.
