As an Allied Universal Security Officer assigned to an access control post within a financial institution location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, deliver excellent customer service, and respond to situations in a professional and composed manner. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access at designated entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry within the financial institution location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises, maintaining detailed access logs as required.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Follow site-specific security-related procedures, including response protocols for emergencies and/or incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and client contacts regarding security-related matters and/or incidents.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards to the appropriate contact as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a combined minimum of three years of law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
