Description 
POSITION SUMMARY: The primary duty of this position is to ensure that the Ardmore facility, its grounds, equipment and all office spaces are maintained to the highest standards possible. This position is directly responsible for the supervision of the Facility Maintenance Department. This position is required to perform various housekeeping and maintenance tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 
  
    
      
     - Serve as the primary contact and person responsible for performing all facility maintenance tasks.
 - Responsible to ensure that all company facilities are always maintained in a clean, organized and professional manner.
 - Develop and maintain a daily housekeeping list for all specific areas at facility.
 - Responsible to open the facility and ensure it is properly secured at the end of each day.
 - Oversee facility housekeeping personnel to ensure a professional, safe and clean facility at all times.
 - Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair heating and ventilation equipment, exhaust fans, compressors, plumbing, lighting, electrical and other mechanical equipment as necessary.
 - Create, review and perform work to implement a preventative maintenance program is maintained and adhered to.
 - Respond to emergency calls by phone or in person during off hours and determine resources needed to mitigate problem.
 - Responsible for the supervision of the functions and operations of the facility maintenance department and personnel.
 - Responsible for maintaining all company vehicles and kept clean at all times. 
 - Assist in modification of existing facilities and in new construction projects, as directed.
 - Comply with all applicable safety rules and maintain compliance with local, state and federal codes, regulations and commercial trade standards.
 - Effective communication both verbal and written for all facility activities and provide written status of all items.
 - Requires minimal supervision.
 - Ability to analyze and resolve facility problems, assist workers in solving problems utilizing personal and professional experience, judgement and plans to obtain position goals. 
 
      
     
  
Qualifications 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Perform repairs and facility support tasks. Tasks to include but not limited to light bulb replacement, ballast replacement, door repairs, carpentry, plumbing, painting, welding, heating and air-conditioning system repairs and maintenance. Ability to identify parts, equipment and alternative parts as needed to support all facility maintenance activities.  EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 
  
    
      
     - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field, or a high school diploma with significant hands-on experience in facility operations and maintenance (especially in aviation or manufacturing environments).
 - At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in facility maintenance, operations, or engineering, ideally in aviation, aerospace, or industrial environments.
 - At least three years of supervisory or management experience leading multi-skilled maintenance teams (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and grounds).
 - Demonstrated experience managing maintenance schedules, vendor contracts, budgets, safety compliance, and facility improvement projects.
 - Experience with FAA, OSHA, EPA, and local building codes compliance is strongly preferred.
 - Prior experience in hangar facilities or MRO operations is highly beneficial.
 - Knowledge of specialized equipment (e.g., aircraft jacks, overhead cranes, compressed air systems) and coordination with maintenance operations to minimize downtime.
 - Familiarity with environmental and hazmat controls, spill prevention, and stormwater management plans.
 
      
     
 
 COMPUTER SKILLS: Word processing, spreadsheets, internet software, e-mail, database software, inventory software, order processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 
  
    
      
     - Facilities Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) preferred
 - HVAC, electrical, or mechanical certifications preferred
