TITLE: Director, Non-Commercial Contract Accounts

LOCATION: Remote Sales

COMP RANGE: $ $114,470- $ $190,701/year plus eligibility for sales incentive (SIP) bonus plan

Custom Culinary, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is hiring a Director, Non-Commercial Contract Accounts to manage and create a focused strategy to the field sales, broker sales organizations for our largest Field Sales (FS) Operators, (FSM's - Field Sales Managers and GPO's - Group Purchasing Organization) to facilitate accelerated growth within the largest operators. This includes top-down execution of strategy with key stakeholders/partners that supports accelerated demand growth from the operator community in the field, (Field Sales Managers and Group Purchasing Operators).

As a Director, Non-Commercial Contract Accounts, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide input in development and implementation of strategic plans to meet organizational goals.
  • Provide long range planning initiatives and implement tactics to execute for each of the largest operators, contract management companies, and Group Purchasing Organizations.
  • Create comprehensive customer business plans that align with strategic growth within foodservice channel.
  • Effectively communicate customer business plans, strategy, and key initiatives to direct and broker sales teams, ensuring best in class execution.
  • Complete complex contract negotiation, to ensure long-term agreements with customers meet to the best of our ability top and bottom-line company objectives.
  • Actively grow the Custom Culinary(CC) branded portfolio at a rate greater than industry/category growth.
  • Analyze, recommend, and control trade spending to support the food service growth goals, and customer initiatives.

The Director, Non-Commercial Contract Accounts position is well suited for you if you have:

  • Been responsible for complex contract negotiation, conflict resolution around trade spend and support.
  • In-depth understanding of distribution network, and trade spend programing.
  • Supported strategic planning in non-commercial contract accounts in the food industry.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience in the food industry and managing food industry sales teams as well as headquarters calls.
  • Proven experiences with complex contract negotiation, conflict resolution around trade spend and support, ensuring trade equality across all operator customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight trips.

Candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

  • Extensive and proven experience within the Foodservice channel
  • In-depth understanding of distribution network, and trade spend programing.
  • Extensive experience in managing food industry sales teams and headquarter calls.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, use hands or and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Overnight travel is required.
