Overview

This is a hybrid role in Phoenix, AZ with the expectation that work time will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This position provides analytical support to the Bank's daily operations. Analyzes data related to operational processes, systems, or products in order to evaluate performance. Makes recommendations based on identified trends and areas of improvement. Facilitates the daily workflow by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and other activities that support efficient operations. Ensures that all processes, systems, or products are effectively functioning and serving the needs of Bank clients.

This position will have dual functionality. Primary responsiblilies will include becoming a SME within the FCB CAB Operations department through a mixture of onsite training, at home training, and online learning. The selected candidate will be available to support production on a monthly basis as schedules and volumes dictate. This knowledge will then support the project analyst function of current and upcoming project needs for both system, training, and installations as needed. There will also be additional duties for reporting and maintenance as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Operational Support - Performs various operational tasks that occur during customer or associate inquiries. Serves as initial point of contact for support of assigned operational process, coordinating communication and requests between involved parties. May process payments via scanner equipment, perform various data entry and reconcilement functions, as well as test systems, or manage vendor relationships.
  • Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs analysis to monitor overall performance, tracking issues and identifying opportunities to improve existing processes.
  • Business Proficiency - Provides knowledge in area of work to associates and clients. Utilizes product, system, or process familiarity to resolve problems and handle client requests, as well as recommend enhancements to management.
  • Documentation - Handles standard documentation associated with daily activities, which may include processing, reviewing, or creating materials. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of analysis reporting. May administer department databases or files. Invoicing and reports processing for the department.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Banking, Finance, or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Banking, Finance, or Analytics

Preferred Skills:

  • Banking/Financial Operations experience, specifically payment or check processing
  • Willingness to adapt to schedule changes based on business demands and team requirements
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented, able to multitask and function in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in documentation such as reporting, Office 360 applications, and invoicing is preferred

  • Experience in project management or participation is preferred
