Lubbock Department Intern Natural History 42882BR Museum Position Description The Museum at Texas Tech supports a full-time, 12-month position for graduate-level students and recent graduates of master's degree programs in museum studies who intend to pursue careers in fields of collections management, exhibits, interpretation, and informal education. Among other strengths, this program provides practical training and experience in best practices in Natural History Collections. Graduate interns participate in all aspects of curatorial skills including planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. About the Department and/or College The Natural Science Research Laboratory (NSRL) is a division of the Museum at Texas Tech University committed to the mission of building and preserving a library of our planet's natural heritage for education and research purposes. The NSRL has been recognized as a leader in the development and use of innovative methodologies for biological collections care and data management. Major/Essential Functions
