The Spirit of the Position:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven National Vice President of Business Development to lead and expand our business development efforts across the United States. The VP of Business Development is responsible for driving national growth initiatives, cultivating high-value partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Business Development, the VP will embody LAZ's employee-focused, servant leadership culture while delivering exceptional business outcomes.

Principal Job Duties:


  • Lead national growth initiatives to expand LAZ Parking's footprint and achieve strategic business goals.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective deals from lead generation to successful close.
  • Develop and nurture new and existing client relationships across diverse markets.
  • Support regional business development efforts, including proposal writing, RFP responses, presentations, and transition oversight.
  • Conduct introductory and follow-up meetings, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Design and implement marketing and sales strategies.
  • Represent LAZ Parking at national client meetings, trade shows, and company-sponsored events.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met and exceeded in client engagements.
  • Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents and Partners to strengthen local and national relationships.
  • Drives the implementation of projects, programs and initiatives that may arise as needed to maintain (and maximize) client relationships.
  • Liaises between executives/partners and leadership teams to drive company strategy.
  • Innovates to assist in the development of new technology solutions.
  • Drives the use of data and benchmarking metrics for the portfolio to improve profitability and results.
  • Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreements between LAZ Parking and our clients.

Requirements:

Travel:



  • Approximately 25% (1-2x/month) of time is spent travelling, in pursuit of new business and supporting existing business.


Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:


  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales leadership, or strategic partnerships.
  • Proven success in leading national or multi-regional growth initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer acquisition, and contract negotiation.
