Quincy Compressor makes and sells the highest quality reciprocating and rotary screw air compressors, vacuum pumps and a full line of air treatment components. Our products are used around the world in manufacturing plants, hospitals, climate control systems and any application that requires reliable air assistance. If you're as tough, dependable and reliable as the compressors we make, then you're the right fit for Quincy Compressor. We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team! This position will be based out of our Bay Minette, AL location.

The key mission of the Executive Assistance is to increase the efficiency of the executive team and to contribute to the effectiveness of the organization by ensuring the best use of time and resources as well as driving initiatives and projects that benefit the whole company and all business lines.

Primary Objectives:



  • To ensure that all executive events and activities are well structured and planned in advance
  • To create and drive projects that increase the effectiveness of the organization
  • To continuously develop and evolve the company wellness scheme and employee social program.
  • To coordinate, manage and steer regular community engagement events



Expected Activities



  • Schedule and arrange the executive meetings and events
  • Coordinate and manage the agenda of the President and team
  • Organize travel and hotel arrangements for customer center visitors and the President
  • Ensure that the Customer Center office has adequate supply of office materials
  • Initiate, run and be involved with key projects that benefit the organization
  • Work with the Wellness and other committees to ensure events are planned accordingly
  • Work within the customer task force to solve urgent and difficult customer problems
  • Organize and run special projects

Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject, business or communication related preferred
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in an office setting (years expereince may be subsituted for degree)
  • Proven track record of working successfully with many people and on many things at the same time
  • Several examples of successful project planning and execution



Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Must be highly organized and able to control many things at the same time
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan while differentiating between the urgent and the important
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Teams
  • Must have a great command of the English language, written and oral.
  • Some travel required.



Physical Demands:



  • Required to be able to move about the facility regularly (standing, walking).
  • Must be fit, willing and able to travel regularly on planes



Work Environment:



  • Mostly office based with some warehouse or workshop environment and some regional office and seminar venue visits. May be exposed to a field service environment at customers' job-sites. Will occasionally be required to work overtime and weekends.
