Open Date Nov 06, 2025 Description The Department of French and Italian Studies at Dartmouth College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer position in Italian for the 2026-27 academic year (one-year appointment with possibility of renewal). The Lecturer will teach six Italian language courses across Dartmouth's three ten-week trimesters (fall, winter, spring) and contribute to the life of the Italian program and department by supporting co-curricular initiatives such as the Italian Table, cultural programming, and the Italian Living Learning Community. We seek an experienced instructor who thrives in a collaborative team and is eager to contribute to curriculum development, program building (e.g., co-curricular activities, student engagement, study-abroad connections), and to implement innovative, student-centered, and interactive teaching approaches informed by current research in the field.
