  • Evaluate vendors and partners for technical maturity, scalability, reliability, and alignment with DoD, FEMA, and EPA requirements.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential partners, including financial strength, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and past performance.
  • Develop standardized evaluation matrices to score technologies by performance, lifecycle cost, resilience metrics, and environmental co-benefits.

  • Develop concise technology briefs, white papers, and market intelligence inputs to strengthen proposals and position Versar for innovative procurements.
  • Match technology solutions to project types - from watershed restoration to base water resilience and distributed reuse systems.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Partner with engineering, environmental, and program management teams to translate innovation insights into executable design and delivery strategies.
  • Work with finance and business development leads to align emerging technology partnerships with Versar's investment and client strategy.
  • Support concept development and pilot project design for novel water resilience technologies.

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong understanding of distributed water systems, resilience planning, and sustainability technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize technical data into executive-level recommendations.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple research tasks with minimal supervision.
