Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Logistics Support Specialist with a strong background in medical logistics, warehouse management, property accountability, and the procurement process. The ideal candidate will possess experience in inventory management, equipment load-out and recovery procedures, medical logistics support, equipment issue and receipt processes, and invoicing. This role is responsible for overseeing and supporting all aspects of medical logistics operations, inventory control, supply chain coordination, and the accurate tracking and accountability of medical logistics. The Medical Logistics Support Specialist will work closely with Medical Directorate, Property Accountability and Mission Hardware Manager, and the Director of the Joint Resource Management Office to ensure seamless integration of medical logistics and operational support functions across the organization. Role and Responsibilities Warehouse Management:
  • Support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Package and prepare outgoing shipments for delivery or courier service.
  • Conduct and coordinate line hauls for internal needs and external vendors.
Inventory Control:
  • Assist with managing inventory levels to ensure necessary supplies are available while minimizing excess stock.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and accountability of all items.
  • Support security, storage, accountability, inventory, and inspections related to FDA licenses.
Operational Exercise Support:
  • Assist in developing and executing medical logistics operational plans, ensuring objectives are met on time and with precision.
  • Provide logistical support to the Medical Directorate, including receiving, accountability, storage, and distribution of materials.
Supply Chain Logistics:
  • Assist with the coordination the logistics of supply chains, including transportation, distribution, and delivery of equipment.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Education
  • Strong knowledge of medical logistics, warehouse management, inventory control, and operational exercise support.
  • Proficiency in using logistics and inventory management software systems.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Preferred Skills Military training experience Special Operations Forces (SOF) background
  • Proficient in MS Office related software
  • Ability to multitask between at least three complex projects simultaneously while managing overall program performance
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
  • Must be a United States citizen Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance
  • Be able to travel approximately 20% of the time to support several customer locations in the continental US, and possibly abroad.

  • Must be able to work in austere conditions, indoors or outdoors, with varying work shifts
