| Position Summary |
The County Extension Program Assistant will perform duties necessary to assist the County Extension Agent in the day-to-day conducting of the Agriculture and Natural Resources (
ANR) program in Athens-Clarke County. Duties will include answering phone calls and helping with
ANR clients and programming. |

| Duties/Responsibilities |
This Program Assistant position will assist the Agriculture and Natural Resources (
ANR) Agent in providing programming and advice for Athens-Clarke County Extension clients. The duties will include, but are not limited to: insect identification, plant identification, weed identification, pest control recommendations according to the Georgia Pest Control Handbook, developing
ANR stories for publication in area newspapers, and working with 4-H youth in Agricultural programs. Site visits and office visits will be a part of providing services to the clientele in this position. |
