Description

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Applications Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, programming, and implementing HVAC control systems for commercial and residential applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC control systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities:



  • Design, develop, and implement HVAC control solutions for commercial and residential applications.
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot HVAC automation systems, including BACnet, Modbus, and other industry-standard communication protocols.
  • Provide technical support for system integration, commissioning, and optimization.
  • Analyze HVAC system requirements and develop control strategies to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and end users to ensure proper system functionality.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including system schematics, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
  • Conduct on-site testing, troubleshooting, and system validation.
  • Provide technical training and support to clients and internal teams as needed.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC controls engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems, including DDC, PLC, and BMS platforms.
  • Proficiency in control system programming and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with major control manufacturers such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Trane is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Willingness to travel as required for project needs.


Positions Type and Expected hours of Work: This is a full-time 40-hour position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Travel: Position location will be located at the Fall River, MA offices.

Physical Demands: This position requires the employee to work in a professional office environment and routinely use standard office equipment. Occasionally you may travel to client sites, both indoor and outdoor environments. Position will entail frequent sedentary work and occasional standing.
