Your Opportunity:

Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking a Fulfillment Center Supervisor to join our team in Dallas, TX. This individual will help direct the daily activities of the inventory control staff. Ensures adequate levels of material and/or product inventories are maintained. This position is responsible for selecting, training, and directing the activities of direct reports to maintain efficient flow of all orders through the distribution center.

Your Hours: Day Shift; Monday - Friday with additional hours as needed by client

Your Responsibilities:

* Select and train high quality employees to provide a resource for future growth.

* Review and direct the activities of direct reports to maintain efficient flow of all orders through distribution center.

* Adjust traffic patterns of materials and products to accommodate customer needs.

* Schedule warehouse inventory control workforce to meet customer demands.

* Achieve effective organization and operation of the warehouse department to meet business objectives and customer needs while maintaining minimized cost levels.

* Maintain a clean, organized warehouse.

* Inspect physical condition of warehouse and implement any repairs/improvements necessary.

* Promote and maintain a safe work environment ensuring compliance with Company safety policies.

* Achieve minimum maintenance cost and reduce down time on warehouse equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program and following maintenance schedules.

* Establish and maintain warehouse procedures manual.

* Perform daily inventory cycle counts and warehouse laps to ensure inventory accuracy.

* Other duties and special projects as assigned.

You Must Have:

* High School Diploma/equivalent

* 3 years warehouse experience

* Qualified/Willing to operate a forklift and pallet jack

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Mathematical aptitude

* Strong computer skills

* Planning and organizational skills

* Ability to deal effectively with and motivate employees

We Would Also Prefer:

* Some college courses in Management

* Supervisory experience
