We're seeking a Senior Benefits Administrator to join a collaborative HR team in Waltham, MA for a temporary assignment through June. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented HR professional with deep knowledge of health and welfare plans, ACA reporting, and compliance who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring benefits programs are administered accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with federal and state regulations.


What You'll Do


  • Administer and ensure compliance for health and welfare benefit programs



  • Oversee Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting, 5500 filings, and other compliance-related activities



  • Maintain adherence to ERISA, HIPAA, and other labor laws and filing requirements



  • Partner with plan providers to ensure smooth and efficient benefits administration



  • Manage employee benefits throughout the lifecycle-new hires, life events, open enrollment, and terminations



  • Serve as the primary contact for employees and leadership on complex benefits questions



  • Oversee benefits invoicing, self-billing, and timely payment of benefit premiums



  • Maintain the Oracle Benefits Module, ensuring system accuracy, data integrity, and successful integrations



  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, HRIS, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Legal



  • Support audits, government filings, and create reports to analyze and summarize trends




What You Bring


  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field



  • Strong experience in health and welfare benefits administration and compliance



  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs) and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint



  • Experience with Oracle HRMS or similar HRIS systems preferred



  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and analytical skills



  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines



  • Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, and related benefits regulations
