Job Description

Client Account and Performance Measurement Analyst I is primarily responsible for coordinating the Cavanal Hill services delivered to clients. This includes interaction with external clients, investment managers, sales team members, and consultants. Coordinates Cavanal Hill Administrative and Operations personnel relating to a variety of issues such as, but not limited to, the account opening process and strategy assignment. The Client Account and Performance Measurement Analyst I analyzes and implements solutions for client and departmental problems and issues. The Client Account and Performance Measurement Analyst I also supports the process of complying with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS), which is under SEC purview, and researches performance measurement related issues and projects. Generally works independently, with direction from the Manager, Client Services/Performance Measurement.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will manage Cavanal Hill client accounts by resolving exceptions and communicating solutions.
  • You will coordinate new client transitions, including data transfers and account documentation.
  • You will prepare for client investment review meetings by compiling and verifying analytical reports.
  • You will support GIPS compliance by following procedures and distributing required reports.
  • You will assist with performance measurement by analyzing portfolio returns and testing report specifications.
  • You will research and resolve account or investment manager issues related to Cavanal Hill clients.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years related experience or 5-7 years equivalent experience. CFA CIPM designation recommended.

  • Knowledge of accounting practices and principles. Possess the ability to present persuasive findings in presentations and whitepapers.
  • Knowledge of performance measurement standards, securities and investment related products, tax implications on client performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of the requirements of CFA Institute standards and an understanding of the principles and practices of Global Investment Performances Standards
  • Knowledge of asset allocation and modern portfolio theory and contribution analysis
  • Knowledge of investment management practices, including different types of strategies and styles, statistical/analytical reporting and attribution analysis.
  • Understanding of mathematical and statistical impacts to investment analytics and performance measurement.
  • Experience with software applications, including Word, Excel, Access, SQL and analytical tools, and performance measurement applications.
  • Superior oral, written and communication skills, including interpersonal skills
  • Ability to relay highly complex information and analytical data to upper management in order for them understand the factors behind recommendations and to allow for their input in challenging projects and workflow processes.
