We are looking for an Assembler to join our team. This individual will assemble X-Ray machines by installing components and accessories as per the Work Order/Sales Order requirements. They will lay out, assemble, dismantle, repair and modify production components and parts for x-ray inspection equipment and systems according to blueprints and other specifications.


Responsibilities

  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings, Bill of Materials and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Assemble machines by installing components and accessories as per the Work Order/Sales Order requirements.
  • Tests assembled machines for operational reliability.
  • Records test results in standard format.
  • Accurately record work-order timing in AMS system.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Pay attention to detail and complete assigned work with the highest standards.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
  • Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Certificate from a two-year college or technical training school highly desired.
  • At least 1+ year of assembly experience is preferred.
  • Ability to use hand tools.
  • Experience in Electronics or Electro-Mechanical repair, installation and assembly preferred.
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to carry out written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required by business needs.
  • Must be reliable and report to work consistently.
  • Ability to work with the team or as individual contributor in a fast-paced environment and deliver results to meet timelines.
