This short-term Research Assistant position (part time, unranked, academic) is anticipated to conclude work on 03/01/2026. This is a non-benefit eligible, 50% FTE role scheduled at an average of 20 hours per week. This is an hourly position paid biweekly and requires submitting time on timesheets. This position will perform advanced computational modeling and analysis of complex structures using finite element methods (FEM). The role involves developing and validating high-fidelity models in LS-DYNA to simulate structural behavior under various loading conditions, including blast and explosive events. The research assistant will analyze simulation results, interpret structural responses, and provide brief reports NOTE: This position is 100% grant funded and is contingent on continued funding. Anticipated Hiring Range
