This Position reports to:

Quality Manager

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspect and test parts, products, and systems to ensure only compliant materials are released to the next stage of production and ultimately to the customer. Each day, you will apply established quality standards, inspection methods, and documentation practices to maintain ABB's commitment to excellence.

The work model for this role is: On-site, based in Bartlesville, OK.

This role contributes to the Measurement & Analytics division in North America, supporting both supplier and production quality operations.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Maintaining and updating quality-related documentation, including contract data, drawings, standards, and technical reference files.

  • Performing incoming and first article inspections, including handling materials, interpreting drawings or purchase orders, and verifying components meet specifications.

  • Using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, go/no-go gauges, and thread gauges.

  • Recording inspection results and managing inventory transactions in SAP.

  • Supporting calibration activities by entering and tracking calibration data, preparing equipment for shipment, and auditing calibration tools.

  • Assisting with discrepant material management by documenting and coordinating DMR/MRB actions.

  • Collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues and ensure adherence to ABB's quality management systems.

  • Providing guidance to less experienced staff and participating in team-based quality initiatives.

Qualifications for the role

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of quality inspection processes, instruments, and documentation.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and product specifications.

  • Basic proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
