Hourly Pay Range: $35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do:
- Clinical Supervision and Interpretation: The Supervisor, Neurophysiology is responsible for the daily inpatient and outpatient operations of the Neurophysiology Lab on assigned shift, ensuring quality patient care delivery and proactively identifying areas for potential risk and improvement. This includes direct clinical supervision and interpretation of routine/continuous EEG recordings and long term monitoring Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) patients, including seizure detection, non-epileptic events (NEEs), sleep staging, and artifact identification. Additionally, the position oversees modalities of NCV/EMG, Evoked Potentials (EP), and Intra-operative Neuro Monitoring (IONM) programs. The Supervisor serves as the first line of coverage for out-of-office situations and actively participates in patient care as a working technician, including after hours and on-call support in alignment with the Neurophysiology Technician position, ensuring accurate and timely reports are generated according to established protocols and regulatory guidelines (e.g., AANN, ABRET, ASET, and NAEC), providing expert clinical judgment regarding patient cases, consulting with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other healthcare professionals, and participating in quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Team Leadership & Training: The Supervisor provides direct supervision and mentorship to a team of Neurophysiology Technicians, guiding their professional development, addressing performance issues, and providing regular feedback. This includes developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive training program for technicians, ensuring proficiency in all aspects of EMU/EEG/EMG/NCV/Intra-operative Neuro Monitoring (IONM) procedures/EP. The Supervisor is also responsible for daily scheduling, inventory management, all lab assignments, managing daily workflow through scheduling and task assignment, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Responsible for supervising, coaching and mentoring assigned staff. Assists with evaluating effectiveness of staff.
- Quality & Compliance Management: This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care through ongoing monitoring data collection and rigorous audits to maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines (AANN, ABRET, ASET, and NAEC). Leading performance improvement activities and teams is essential for proactively identifying areas of enhancement. This includes ensuring timely reporting and appropriate follow-up on any occurrences, contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the lab.
- Communication & Collaboration: The Supervisor facilitates effective communication and collaboration among the EMU/EEG/EMG/NCV/IONM team, neurologists, neurosurgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. This includes providing clear and concise explanations of EMU/EEG/IONM procedures to patients and their families, addressing concerns and answering questions, collecting and analyzing data related to EMU/EEG/EMG/NCV/IONM/EP services, and preparing reports for management as needed.
What you will need:
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Neurophysiology, EEG Technology, or related procedural field required. Certification: Current ABRET certification in one or more of the following: EEG/LTM, IONM, NCV, and/or Autonomics required. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Neurophysiology Technician, with demonstrated expertise in EEG/LTM, IONM, NCV, and/or Autonomics required.
