General Summary


Supervise and/or perform the administrative activities in the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Department, the Material Delivery system, Preventative Maintenance Program.



Prerequisites


Education: High School. Two (2) or Four (4) year technical degree preferred.


Work Experience: One or Three years of mechanical experience preferred.


Skills: Ability to understand all mechanical & electrical equipment & repairs to some. Should be familiar with all mechanical skills.


Other: Ability to motivate & communicate well with people. Good organizational skills.



Essential Functions of this position include but are not limited to...



  1. Manager department compliance and improvement of all maintenance technology systems (CMMA, G:\maint drive, etc.). Includes storeroom parts descriptions, qualities, vendors etc. equipment hierarchy, numbering system, etc. g:\maint drive documentations controls, etc.
  2. Maintain compliance with ISO Quality System responsibilities.
  3. Direct the expansion, improvement & operation of the preventative maintenance program in the electrical mechanical & instrument maintenance areas.
  4. Determine manpower & material requirements & associates cost data for maintenance work orders.
  5. Work with production, storeroom & material handling personnel to ensure availability of equipment & timely delivery of materials to job sites.
  6. Ensure that asset equipment data control, preventative maintenance system supporting files in the electrical, mechanical & instrument areas are maintained on a current basis.
  7. Ensure the preparation of reports related to maintenance workload, accomplishment, backlog, delay, etc. as required by management.
  8. Furnish maintenance manpower cost, time & asset identification data to operations & staff department management personnel as required.
  9. Perform as a Maintenance Supervisor as required.
  10. Develop & maintain lubrication w/o/ system complete with point identification lube frequency, lube analysis & tracking system.
  11. Develop & implement a predictive maintenance w.o. system which provides the necessary people the information required to track equipment condition.
  12. Provide the necessary materials to complete w.o. items not carried in the storeroom.
  13. Plan shutdowns & outages complete with equipment procurement & contractor responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits



  • Starting salary range for position: $74,400 to $111,000.
  • Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.

  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
