The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, and staging finished product. They are also responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments and all the necessary documentation.

Job Duties:



  • Prepare jobs for shipments, and perform all duties associated with the proper preparation of documents.
  • Remove bails from the bailer, stage bales for recycling, and clean the bailer room.
  • Remove WIP and excess material from the production floor and return it to the proper warehouse floor location.
  • Stock material for the press and finishing departments as needed per production schedule.
  • Receive and unload packages, raw material, stock items, non-stock items, etc.
  • Operate a forklift, transport, and store all received shipments in the correct place.
  • Ensure all incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments match the company order and specifications.
  • Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of the work area/production zone.
  • Related duties as assigned.



Experience/Skills Required:



  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Exhibits a safety-first attitude in all that is done, from proper personal protection equipment compliance to keeping the work environment safe and hazard-free.
  • Compliance with all workplace and safety standards required.
  • Prior experience in operating a forklift.
  • RF Scanner experience and general warehouse knowledge.
  • Detail-oriented and can focus for long periods of time.
  • Self-starter who excels in organization and communication.
  • Capable of working in a team environment and alone with a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to stand and move around the work area for long periods of time.
  • Possess skills to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
