Description
The Senior Account Representative, Grocery & Drug, will perform specific strategic and tactical job functions through cross-functional management of multiple internal departments and customer contacts. In this role you will be working with mid-level to national accounts.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Explicit dedication to company, account team and key retailers.
- Daily communication with ReaderLink's retail customers.
- Work closely with account management team and support others internal department to meet customer expectations.
- Primary liaison with ReaderLink Distribution Centers to coordinate needed service/execution levels.
- Produce weekly and ad hoc sales and stock level information.
- Needs to be able to quickly assess a customer inquiry or account task, determine solution or information needed and own the process through completion and follow-up.
- Provides administrative/account support as needed.
- Proactively manages list of tasks and scheduling.
- Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage the needs of the DC's, Inventory and account management team, and customer.
- Track customer-filling rates as well as fines and managing on-time deliveries.
- Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects/requests.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - in-person, phone, email, presentations, etc.
- Fast learner, team player, and aggressive problem solver.
- Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, flexible, and efficient.
- Must be focused on continuous improvement and be self-motivated.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects/requests.

- Desire to advance and grow within the company.
- Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to create sales analysis reports and product presentations.
- Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Must be able to analyze sales documents to identify trends and successful product performance.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve problems and improve existing processes.
- A methodical and organized approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to deal with problems involving variables.
- The work performed is in an office environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Employee is occasionally exposed to vibration and dust.
- Travel may be required.
Salary: $53,000.00 - $65,000.00
