We are looking for a HCP Marketing Lead to join us in our Rheumatology Marketing team, based in our Atlanta, GA office.

About the role

As a Rheumatology Marketing Lead, you will steward UCB brands to market leadership by developing and implementing impactful marketing campaigns.

Who you'll work with

This role will be reporting to a Rheumatology Brand Lead, you will work with Marketers across the Immunology Business Unit, including marketers responsible for HCP promotion, Digital promotion, Peer-to-Peer, Patient, and Payers. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Sales, Medical, Insights, Learning & Development, Finance, and Compliance.

What you will do

  • Lead development of compelling messages, claims, and creative content living into the overall brand vision set by UCB organizational leadership.
  • Shape integrated HCP marketing strategies, executing core tactics to drive adoption of a launch brand.
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, Field Sales, and Learning & Development to optimize promotional content and ensure effective delivery of digital and print assets to the Field Sales team.
  • Provide updates to commercial leadership teams for awareness and alignment.
  • Lead content development from initial concept through the Review Committee (RC) process (medical, legal, and regulatory review) to approval
  • Collaborate with agencies on creative content development; oversee budget updates and accruals.
  • Partner with UCB Learning and Development team and sales leadership for new hire and ongoing training.
  • Operating at the highest level of UCB compliance and professional standards; Compliance is integral to how we operate within UCB. Adherence to compliant behavior is expected and demonstrated by embracing ethical decision-making practices and guidelines in all aspects of our organization.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience successfully executing HCP-focused campaigns
  • This is a hybrid role (working from home and in-office) based in the UCB US Corporate offices in Atlanta. Candidates must be based in, or willing to relocate to, the Atlanta area
  • Willingness/ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 40%

Preferred requirements

  • Can independently lead projects through a Medical/Legal/Regulatory review
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling promotional stories and messages
  • Strong time management, project management, and budget management skills
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional partners in a matrixed organization (Sales, Marketing, Learning & Development, Medical, Regulatory, Compliance)
  • Understanding of data analysis and insight generation to inform strategic decisions
  • Proficiency with Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) or similar required This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $104,400 to $137,000
    per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
