Scope of Work Responsible for indexing and digitally scanning all paperwork submitted to the Corewell Health Laboratory by its clients. Primary functions include reprinting barcode labels, sorting paperwork, scanning documents, and filing documents for short and long storage needs. * Digitally scan and index patient/client documents for department retrieval. * Reprint barcode labels to prepare documents for scanning. * Sort and file patient/client documents per department needs. * Maintain digital imaging hardware systems. * Assist in resolving client complaints/concerns as relates to finding scanned requisitions. * Assist Corewell Laboratory and IT in determining system downtimes and maintenance. * Participates in: * Cost effectiveness: Efficient use of time in completing tasks accurately and timely. Mindful of appropriate use of laboratory funds through purchase requests and the observance of wasteful use of supplies. * Assist Beaumont Laboratory management with assigned projects.
