Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. As a Product Manager - Payments, you'll be at the heart of shaping the future of BECU's products and systems. Your vision and strategic thinking will guide the roadmap that powers innovation and delivers exceptional experiences for our members. You'll turn ideas into impactful solutions, ensuring every step-from research to delivery-drives meaningful results for the organization and those we serve.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC, CA or VA. If you're located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Define the Vision: Craft and champion the roadmap for products, systems, and applications that align with BECU's business goals and member needs.
• Drive Strategic Recommendations: Provide insights and recommendations that influence product direction and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
• Lead End-to-End Development: Oversee the flow of research, concept development, UX design, and delivery to create products that elevate member experiences.
• Measure Success: Monitor product performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Champion Member Voice: Bring member feedback into every decision to ensure products resonate and deliver value.
• Manage Budgets: Oversee product financials, budgets, and approved expenses with precision and accountability.
• Foster Team Alignment: Share information effectively and maintain clear documentation for all owned products.
• Own Release Priorities: Set and manage release goals across capabilities, ensuring timely and impactful delivery.

• Collaborate with Vendors: Support vendor relationships and partnerships to maximize product success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technology, business, or related discipline.
• Typically requires 5 years of product management, product development or product operations, or equivalent experience with platform technology.

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced degree preferred
• Experience in an agile environment is preferred.
• Experience working with elements of the product development lifecycle preferred.
• Self-directed and able to identify business and customer needs and opportunities, overcome barriers, influence, and formulate solutions with minimal supervision preferred.
• Experience managing highly effective cross-functional teams preferred.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation skills preferred.
