As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in The Dalles, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading tech industry location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the site and respond to situations as they arise. Your presence and communication will support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies relevant to the tech and data center environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise within the facility or on its perimeter.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns within a technology-focused location.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols to Allied Universal and site management.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as required, and addressing unauthorized access attempts.
• Assist site personnel, visitors, and contractors by providing information and directing them according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of security-related activities, incidents, and daily occurrences using required documentation practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
