As a Security Officer - Access Control and Patrol in Manchester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. Your visible presence and outstanding customer service will help create a welcoming environment for all visitors. You will play an important role in maintaining order, responding to incidents, and supporting the operations of a busy retail setting, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and people-first care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or shoppers while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the retail location.
• Perform access control duties, including verifying credentials and granting entry according to site requirements.
• Respond calmly and with problem-solving skills to incidents or critical situations as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within the business and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and to observe for unusual conditions.
• Document security-related observations and incidents as required by site guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with store management and staff to support a secure atmosphere for employees and customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
