| Position Summary |
This is a research assistant position to be part of a group of research staff recruiting for various industry and government funded projects. Though responsibility is to specific projects, you are required to screen and be able to explain other research projects as well as obtain informed consent for them. There is mandatory phone on-call to be shared among the group, the specific time/number of hours is dependent on the number of staff available and the studies requiring on call. The position includes patient recruitment, data collection, specimen collection and processing must be able to multitask.
This is a 3 year time limited research assistant position. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
| Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Must have clinical research experience or experience caring for obstetric clients. Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Must be expert in MS Office; very strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to work independently; must be able to analyze and interpret policy and procedural guidelines and apply those guidelines appropriately, must be skilled in organizing workflow and coordinating multiple priorities. |
| Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Phlebotomy experience is preferred or must be willing to learn. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred. |
