Position Summary
The Associate Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the execution of clinical research protocols, including leading efforts in gathering, compiling, and reporting data for a variety of research studies. This position will serve as an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator within the UNC School of Medicine. Individuals hired for this position will join a dynamic team of investigators conducting evaluations of cancer prevention and control programs. Evaluation-related activities will include some combination of data collection and analyses, database management, project management, administrative activities, report writing, and presentation development. Individuals in this position will collaborate with stakeholders across the state.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

  • Substantial capacity to independently manage and coordinate evaluation activities
  • Excellent interpersonal/management skills as the position will require substantial communication and coordination with a variety of individuals
  • Able to develop plans for project implementation and coordination with colleagues at other sites
  • Strong scientific and professional writing skills and will be expected to contribute to evaluation proposals, reports, compliance issues, and final evaluation products

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
  • Expertise and/or strong interest in data visualization highly desired
